Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 25th, because we’re going down from 22h to 03h at @micromusiclub We’ve got our hot team of residents @brunosnupidj and @felipevicente_ bringing the groovy beats - as usual - plus the Brazilian DJ and producer to watch out for @readytobelucas as our special guest. The artist behind the party label groove4fun, Snupi, has been deeply focused in researching the major tendencies of Deep and House music in the last 16 years. Natural from São Paulo and based in Lisbon, he is known for adding touching vocals and sophisticated soul music to his mixes. His productions have a unique charming tone, resulting in extremely tasteful sets made for the entire dance floor. Our resident, Vicente, seamlessly blends the genres of House, Electro, and Techno to create his signature hybrid sound. His eclectic and creative style is guided by a keen intuition, as he strives to bridge the gap between the familiar and the unexpected. Born in Porto Alegre, Brazil and now residing in Lisbon, he brings a fresh perspective to the electronic music scene, infusing modernity into classic sounds and incorporating history into contemporary beats. As our special guest, the rising star Lucas, a Brazilian DJ and Producer, born in Florianópolis and based in Lisbon since 2019. His music is a space trip through the avant-garde imagery of a Sun in Pisces and Mercury in Aquarius. With roots in European Micro House and Minimal Techno, a crush for UK Garage '2step' and drawn to the contagious energy of Chicago House, his timbres reflect a nostalgia to Electro, without ever forgetting the festive Groove of his Brazilian roots. He discovered his love for electronic music at the age of 17, but the need to transmit emotions through melodies and beats began long before that, at the age of 6. Brought up in a 'Von Trapp' style musical family, he started on the church drums and played on a borrowed guitar until the age of 14, when his grandmother bought him his first electric guitar. He went through several bands, specialised in record production, recorded artists, debuted as a DJ at parties, and evolved in the world of underground electronic music. He has been producing for almost 10 years, but his first release was in 2016 with VA '002' by D-Edge Records, a collection of local veterans and emerging Brazilian artists, which combines Dub Techno, Tec House and Groove to portray a night well spent on the dance-floor of the also São Paulo club. Lucas recently released the track 'Capitulo' on the VA 'Various - 08' from UK label Mindhelmet, available on pre sale online at 'Subwax', 'deejay.de' and 'Decks'. Still for this year is confirmed the release of an own record by the Portuguese label 'howbouttrippin', and a track on the VA 'Part of the Gang Records', label created in 2012 by the iconic German DJ and producer tINI. The same inspiration and musicality felt in Lucas productions carries over to the dance-floor in his DJ-sets. With a smile on his face and euphoric gestures, he presents harmonies developed over accelerated and deconstructed beats. Get ready for a night of non-stop grooves!
