Homeroom is back at TBA on Friday, May 12th with a lineup packed full of budding talent. GrooveYard is a NYC-based duo that has been lighting up the New York house scene, with multiple eye-opening performances. Grooveyard has shared the decks with the likes of Secondcity, Detlef, Francis Mercier and Yolanda Be Cool as well as getting 2nd place in the 2022 Realm Records Demo Competition. Continuing their strong start to original production, GrooveYard will be following up their recent EPs releases on Street Tracks and Terms & Conditions with more dancefloor magic lined up for release in 2023. Montreal based Lucas & Alex are set to make their NYC debut representing the ascending MTL house music scene. They infuse their music and djing style with every essence of underground music which has captivated the Montreal club scene. Their latest singles "Transition" and "Basement Big" showcase their style, which constantly pushes for that forward thinking club sound. Following their breakthrough, they have since played MTL's best venues and festivals including Festival Mural, Soubois, Francesco's, & BeachClub. NYC based GENPOP is a DJ/Producer and one of founding members of Homeroom. Since the start of 2022, GENPOP has released multiple singles amassing over 100K streams. His upcoming release "Out There" with Tónis is coming courtesy of Australian based Bobbin Head Music. Early Support on "Out There" has been heavy, with GENPOP receiving a Traxsource Top 30 House position. NYC based BriGuy is an up & coming DJ / Producer & multi-instrumentalist that has been making waves as a wide-ranging performer as well as a curator with the Homeroom collective. He is the frontman of the acclaimed indie alt band 2% which has amassed over 1 Million streams on their hit single "Fumblin," and has solo releases in genres from Funk House to UKG lined up for 2023 that are primed to replicate that success. Brooklyn based GINA GIRIO, known for her vast range and genre mending style, has begun garnering much deserved support amongst the local dance community. Showcasing her unique take on blending Deep Tech and UKG, Girio's guest mix appearances on Operation Revolt, Somersault Records and Sisters in Sound have positioned her for a breakout 2023.
