:: GREG PAULUS ::
Greg Paulus is a trumpet player from Minnesota who grew up in the jam session scene in New York, while attending the Manhattan School of Music where he studied with Laurie Frink.
Tours with Beirut and Matthew Dear solidified his international ethos, all the while recording and performing live/dj sets with his best friend NIck DeBruyn for their group "No Regular Play". They released 2 LPs on Wolf + Lamb Records and many EP's and remixes on cutting edge underground dance music labels.
Having played over 40 countries over the last 15 years, he holds down a weekly residency at La Mezcaleria Milagrosa in Brooklyn, where the best musicians in the world come to play. A highlight for the group is playing the legendary Houghton Festival in the UK, where they will feature again this year.
He is the son of Grammy winning composer Stephen Paulus who tirelessly fought for composers’ voices to be heard on the ASCAP board and their collaborative "TimePiece" opus that they wrote together for the Minnesota Orchestra will be forever remembered.
