Naked Truth #2 - A Feminist Porn screening

The Naked Truth Cinema series is back to revolutionize the way we look at and consume the porn industry ! For the 2nd edition, hosted by director Sylvia Borges and animated by Elio Sol, two new movies from the director Bea Blue, 'Love Language' and 'Taste of You', and a new open debate with the public ! - About Bea Blue’s “I am Bea Blue, nice to meet you all remote. I am a queer, feminist filmmaker based in Berlin, born in Vienna (she/her). Through my work I hope to contribute to a world of more pleasure and less shame. A fantasy is just as good as it’s execution in line with each other’s needs and desires – I like to say. I want to encourage people to see the sexiness in consent talk. A “no” is as good as a “yes”. The more we listen to verbal and non-verbal cues, the more we get close to sexual fulfilment. Sex is not perfect, but a consistent dance of communication. Performers are role models in bed, we can learn so much from them – far away from stigma and closer to true sexual empowerment and fulfilment. In my work I focus on queer and straight porn. My mum was a sex worker in the 90s and she felt a lot of shame around her work. She did not come out as a sex worker to many people but worked as hard as anyone else. We fight for visibility, equality and diversity – sex work is no difference. We are not afraid of sex but the concept created by society and imposed by restricting beliefs. Porn is political as any other media. So please take a look, enjoy and please let me know your feedback, I am curious and eager to get better.” - Love Language (2024) “In the film I want to show that consent on camera can be/is very hot and that verbal and non-verbal cues play a role. I also show different dynamics and power relationships in the film and would like to point out that they also play a role in the consent exchange and that you have to be aware of them. The film has now won the award for “Best Toying Around” at the PFFV in Vienna.” - Taste of You" (2023): In this film I show how beautiful body fluids are and we should/must be proud of them. The film is a funny take on the subject, but the message is clear: Be proud of your bodily fluids, like chefs are proud of their final "tasty" creations. The focus of the film is on a woman, because cis women in heterosexual structures in particular struggle with many insecurities regarding the smell/taste of the intimate area.
