OOZE w/ Lucy, Maayan Nidam, Madison Moore & Ron Like Hell

OOZE Returns to H0l0 with some top-tier talent in the techno world. Lucy is the nom de techno of Italian-born and Berlin-based Luca Mortellaro, one of the genre’s most exciting and ambitious DJ/producers. Since 2009, Mortellaro has focused his work through his own Stroboscopic Artefacts label, building an imprint and personal discography that has established itself as one of techno’s finest. Maayan Nidam, an artist in flux, continues to change, evolve and challenge boundaries both in her Berlin studio and on stage. She has built a reputation as a fine DJ and producer who favours a subtle approach towards mesmeric moments. Her DJ sets, predominantly based in stripped-back, deep sounds, utilise an intriguing vinyl collection, using obscure interludes for re-contextualisation. This approach makes for some magical moments on the dance-floor, where a night’s highlight may come from the most unlikely of tracks. Born and raised in Ferguson, Missouri, madison moore is a polymath: a professor of gender studies, author of a New York Times celebrated book on fabulousness, and a burgeoning artist on the global queer techno scene. His sassy, energetic sets are known for bringing the flavors of hard techno, house, ghetto tech, vogue beats, disco and dub techno to the dance floor. After moving to London in 2014, madison quickly became a regular on the London scene and co-founded OPULENCE, a queer techno collective that was featured in Last Dance, a short film about London nightlife released by 4:3/Boiler Room. Since 2014, madison has played clubs in London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Bristol, New York, and has shared the decks with the likes of Boris, Machine Woman, Samuel Kerridge, SPFDJ, Roy Perez and Object Blue.
