Parenth(e)ses invites Voigtmann, Melody & More

After years spent wandering in underground parties, collecting records, dancing in clubs and festivals, it was finally time for us to create our own party, a Parenth(e)ses Party. This Parenth(e)ses will take place on a boat, reminding us of the many memories from the Dimensions Festival that marked us last summer. We want to recapture that spirit of magic and make it our own. Welcome aboard ! ////// CRUISE \\\\\\ ————— CHINAU & WONDJA ————— We are pleased to invite Chinau & Wondja for a 3-hour extended set along the River Seine to begin this Parenth(e)ses ! They will bring soulful vibes and set the vibe to this unique cruise experience. Chinau & Wondja’s Dj sets always gather people around a halo of positive vibes, blending disco contemporary sounds, resolutely house, to create a groovy universe where boundaries are blurred. They will fire the boat, in front of the most beautiful monuments in Paris… can’t wait. ////// MAIN ROOM \\\\\\ ————— VOIGTMANN ————— There is no such way to describe what Claus produces when behind the decks. With sublime dedication to Djing and music production Voigtmann has acquired the respect of his peers. After co-founding one of London’s most underground and conceptual parties, Toi.Toi.Musik, he then started to produce himself around the world - touring Japan, North- and South America etc. 2018 will see his debut album on his very own label Subsequent which is no longer a secret weapon already played by the likes of ZIP/Ricardo Villalobos/Sonja Moonear etc. Voigtmann is an artist with an ever-increasing catalog of knowledge, taste, and skill, providing what appears to be a long road ahead of him. Let the wizard bewitch the barge ! ————— MELODY ————— For this new Parentheses, we are pleased to invite Melody, one of the key figures of the Paris underground scene. Melody's journey began last decade with her first residency at Die Nacht alongside Ethel & with RA+RE as a resident of the agency. Since then, she has been touring in Europe promoting her dreams and ideas. With the RA+RE Showcase she started a residence in Berlin at Club der Visionaere and Hoppetosse. Come and see Melody taking the main room to a different dimension. She will deliver a punch set, backed by a vivid digger's collection, ever meddling electro and break beat with 90's house/techno. ————— PARENTHESES ————— The main room festivities will kick off as soon as the boat returns to the dock with the residents of Parenth(e)ses. Drawing inspiration from the 90s house to more new minimal contemporary techno groovy sounds, they will show their digging and mixing skills to light up the club. ////// MINI ROOM \\\\\\ ————— BEYOND (Parea & Martin) ————— We are pleased to invite our dear friends Parea & Martin from Beyond to take over the mini room. Our Parentheses residents and the duo known as Beyond crossed paths ‘en route’ to the party. Created last year, Beyond has since been actively involved in promoting Paris's burgeoning music scene. Their musical journey is guided by a deep reverence for the past while embracing innovation with unwavering passion. Golden mean between minimal sounds, techno, electro and progressive house, Beyond’s music and vibe is here to make people create memories. ////// IMPORTANT REMINDERS \\\\\\ The dancefloor is a place of unity and kindness.
