Quee(r)n moustache went silent in July because, secretly, we were prepping things up for a BIG BIG BIG summertime edition ! We’re burnin up burnin up burnin up for your love and we’ve been missing you. Did you notice, do you feel it ? la vie en rose ! Summer of love ! It gets hot, bodies go undercover, dripping sweat to the beat of our drums ! For this special edition into 80s queer nostalgia, we are dropping our luggages to the infamous Palms, Caparica, YES SISTERS ! We absolutely love the nomad life and we couldn’t go through summer before a little SPLASH by the beach ! Surprise Surprise Surprise ! Many things will stay hidden in the sand castles so you can all have this WOW feeling, but trust us, it will be different, just as we truly empower each one of you and us to embrace differences. Joining forces this time : a long friend of us, Markezine, accepted the invitation to spread his own perception of house music. His spectrum is wide, from melodic techno to some progressive house super sunshine vibes, Markezine´s vision of djing and even clubbing is as militant as we do here. He already shared the booth with Jonas Salbaach to name a few, part of Music lovers rosters and teacher at ProDj school + launched his own production association named Lab music events ! Just that, yes ! As you all now, house music has many subgenres and we do love a proper beat beat beat ! For the rest, your infamous residents that you cherish the most. AZM on one hand delivering a perfectly technical and sensual house music lesson (one of his legend is Chris Stussy, would you have guessed?) that even opened for Fuse anniversary just a week ago ! On the other hand, your crazy very own and dedicated princess Kemetic both on opening and closing duties (more likely wearing another vintage designer kimono, who can tell ?). Creatures of the night, sun and moon, dress to impress, express yourself ! Come with an attitude, kill the dance floor, move your butt away, this night is yours, it's ours ! Yes yes yes. How can that be a house music, queer legacy event without some proper Drag Queens actions ? One of our values is perceiving the dance floor as something political and healing. Drag Queen performing art has been ever since his creation a performing art, yes but a very political one, reinforcing, educating our very own fights in this wild world. We will keep the names of our queens a secret until august but what we can already tell you is that it will be LEGENDARY and they won’t sashay away. Get ready for some actions.
