Lineup curated by EJ BOOKER, Head of Gorilla Marketing. As with all SLIST events our lineup is curated for dark music. Dark music evokes feelings of sorrow, despair, hate, and other negative emotions. It's a reminder of the human condition. Common elements include haunting melodies, ethereal vocals, and unnatural sounds. Every genre from pop to industrial hardcore has a darker sub-genre that falls under "dark music". This event will feature the following genres in particular: Acidcore, Acid trance, Dark techno, Hardcore Industrial Trance, Hard groove, Hard techno, Neo-rave, and a bit of melodic Psytechno to get the party warmed-up. ■ No tables or chairs on the dance floor. ■ Zero tolerance for harassment or discrimination. We book DJs directly from our online community - often without ever meeting them in person until the actual event. The only thing we care about is their ability to submit a dark mixtape. If you'd like to get involved with our parties in any capacity shoot us a DM or come say hi in person. We treat each member of our lineup with equal compensation opportunities. Every member on the lineup has a critical role. No one is highlighted or treated as a headliner. Depending on the event, we invite previous "peak-hour DJs" for earlier and later slots. The party comes before everything else.
