His music is released on labels such as Cocoon, Crosstown Rebels, Rebirth and many more. It’s fair to say that Berlin’s Emanuel Satie burst onto the scene in impressive style with a slew of releases on marquee labels, including a Beatport number 1 (all genres). This was just the start, though, for the talented DJ / Producer and more success quickly followed with a number 2, the instant classic ‘Come As You Are’, and his Ibiza anthem ‘Don’t Forget To Go Home’. Both are now firmly filed in the ‘iconic tracks’ section of record stores – and in fact Don’t Forget to Go Home was named Miami Music Week Essential New Tune in 2018. It should come as no surprise then, that he was named Producer Of The Year at the DJ Awards in Ibiza – an accolade previously awarded to the likes of Maceo Plex and Solomun. Since then his musical output has developed and matured and he’s now widely regarded as one of the scene's leading lights. He is a regular contributor on heavyweight labels such as Crosstown Rebels, Cocoon and Rebirth and he recently collaborated with Radio 1 legend Pete Tong on their 2019 summer jam ‘Time For Love’ which has racked up over 2 million plays on Spotify. His DJ sets are just as impressive. Satie expertly balances a journey style of DJing, with the need to keep the floor fully engaged at all times – all this making him a ‘must see’ artist. Xinobi is Bruno Cardoso, a Portuguese grown-up-kid obsessed with music. He’s part of a generation that grew up within the music-blog eruption fueled by Do It Yourself ethics. After releasing a few solid eps on labels like Discotexas, Nervous, Work-It-Baby, and Ministry of Sound he gained a real recognition among more established and well-known artists and opinion-makers, and his underground cult become ampler. Idiosyncratic tracks like (I Hate The Sound of) Guitars, Puma or Spend the Night really retain attention; remixes, edits and reworks for artists such as Sbtrkt, John Grant, Toro Y Moi, Nicolas Jaar, Riva Starr, Agnes Obel, Moullinex and Kris Menace just prove Bruno’s ability to re-arrange amazing music into a new universe. Despite Xinobi’s appetite for devouring various genres, there is a unique watermark and consistency to his output, due not least to his musical and arrangement-based skills.
