At each session, at least one of our residents will be curating the line up and spreading the Metronome vibe in a warm, cozy, and focused environment. Enjoy the ride ✨ For our inaugural session, we are humbled to host local artist and Panorama Bar regular Russel EL Butler. Luigi Sambuy is your host on opening duties and long-time friend Eugenia will close the night with her cosmic selections. A multidisciplinary artist from Bermuda now based in New York and with a trail of prior accomplishments across the US, *Russell E.L. Butler* is currently enjoying new peaks locally and abroad. Russell rose to notice circa 2015 with modular-based records on respected experimental imprints – Opal Tapes, Jacktone, Spectral, and more – that pushed boundaries between the outer limits of techno and house without settling on either idiom. Their DJ-ing is similarly delocalized and challenging, plumbing gutter depths of acid and rugged techno or breaking out of genre completely, something especially noticeable in the year-old DJ duo Boyz II Them formed with similarly searching selector ADAB.
