The Landing Strip host their pilot night of live music and pole dance performances. Musicians, DJs and dancers will collaborate live to experiment in melding genres, styles, attractions, movements and impulses. Bringing the strip club to the gig. Expect wonky sounds and slinky seduction. ________________ DANCERS: ~ Sedusa Swan ~ Sedusa Swan is a professional London based Seductre$$ who has graced stages internationally. A master of slink and seduction, Sedusa is a full-time pole dance performer, midnight ballerina & pole dance instructor. Best known for her serpentine like flows and powerful stage presence she is excited to entice you. ~ Saffron Noir ~ As a pole instructor and performer, Saffron Noir has performed at various strip-style events and competitions, captivating audiences with her dynamic and unapologetic artistry. Her movement is a blend of strength and sensuality and her performances engage audiences with an effortless charm that leaves them inspired and intrigued. ~ Scarlett Honey ~ Scarlett Honey is a pole dancer and skr!pper, spinning her way into men’s wallets from Cardiff to Norwich. Inspired by the surreal world of the skr!p club and the magical blur of the rave, she brings a sleazy, slinky style to the stage. LIVE ACTS: ~ Portia Lewis ~ portia lewis ultimate girl group long live slipknot ~ Spresso ~ Spresso is a rock group with members Alpha Maid, Mica Levi and Zach Toppin - previous releases are: spresso, FAST SET CEMENT, Rockstars, Pretty Penny Slur. DJ HOSTS: ~ Sofie K ~ Holding down their monthly NTS show Work Out for the past 7 years, Sofie K’s selections span wonky proto-house, sleazy synth pop and other miscellaneous pumpers. Their upbeat, unfussy sound earned them a residency at London-based queer party Pumping Velvet, and frequent appearances at Corsica Studios, Pickle Factory and The White Hotel. They’ve released a string of productions for charity compilations on Ransom Note, Human Endeavour and and Pollination. Sofie helped set up the Manchester & Salford Save Our Scene collective, soundtracked documentary short Mosaic, and designed a string of charity t-shirts raising money for organisations like Sistah Space and Medical Aid For Palestinians. ~ Coby Sey ~ Coby Sey is a songwriter, producer, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and DJ, who, after years spent buzzing around the DIY artist circuitry of South East London, has developed a distinctive presence as an artist and performer. Sey’s recorded work spans the realms of live instrumentation, electronic productions and experimental music, melding recognisable motifs of hip-hop, noise, jazz and grime into a dubbed-out anaesthesia. Sey’s open-door approach to sharing and making music is evident in his long-term collaborations. He is also a founding member of London’s CURL collective (with Mica Levi and Brother May), has created commissioned work with London Contemporary Orchestra and hosts a monthly radio show on NTS since 2015. Sey’s long awaited debut album ‘Conduit’ was released on 9 September 2022 through AD 93 to widespread critical acclaim.
