Trip Sittin' w/ REFRAKT, Chillosophy, baby-g & Joy Supply

Trip Sittin' has a very simple proposition: come prepared to dance and you'll be treated to a night of friendly vibes, amazing dance music to move your body to, and plenty of space to do it. Our DJs work in collaboration to keep the flow of the night magically smooth and conducive to altered states of mind. Over four iterations, our party has become the most progressive showcase for dark disco and indie dance in NYC. Check out this lineup: REFRAKT is a producer and DJ based in New York City, and he's toured in LA, Europe & Tulum. In his music, REFRAKT layers sounds and melodies into a hypnotic mixture of dark disco, melodic techno, and world beats, transporting the listener through modulations and feedback loops. His latest EP, False Memories, was released by Phisica in January and features remixes from two dark disco giants, BadWolf and Alejandro Molinari. Chillosophy is a DJ who uses soaring saturated synth melodies and driving, pulsating grooves to conduct expressive dance through every soul in the room. His command of the indie dance genre will have you moving parts of your body you never knew you had. He's becoming known throughout Brooklyn's underground scene as an organizer of amazing dance parties. baby-g brings a dark, sultry texture to the party with her infectious, spicy driving techno. She and Chillosophy are the co-organizers of Liminal Collective, an outfit centered around dark & groovy dance parties. She is also the co-founder of Transmission, a grassroots event created for friends by friends that celebrates different styles of techno. Joy Supply & Mycelium are a DJ duo known for spacey and earthy soundscapes complemented by free-flowing dance rhythms. Their b2b's are a playful conversation between dark disco and leftfield, which showcase their soulful rapport. They have a residency at TBA Brooklyn and you can catch Joy Supply at the Elements Music Festival this summer! Also in our presence will be a fairy greeting everyone on the dancefloor and providing fresh fruit for parched mouths. This all takes place in the downstairs of Eris. The intimate dancefloor features a four-point Funktion-One sound system which was once part of the legendary Output venue. Additionally, there is a large, cozy lounge for our dancers to rest up between rounds of dancing.
