Hi cuties, our last Super Whoopee was an explosion of bubbles, smiles and fun moments together. It's been so lovely to see you all having fun in that two very special dancefloors. It was 12 hours of music, happiness and vibes. We are back for our monthly appointment at Lulu, with a very special guest from Porto. LINE UP ★ Kemetic ★ Leote ★ Helena Guedes Helena Guedes is a Porto based DJ who's been creating waves with her diverse sets mixing jazz, soul, funk, disco, house and everything in between. Starting out in her teens as a music lover and digger immersed in soul, funk, disco, jazz, hip-hop, afrobeat, as well as Chicago and Detroit's signature sounds, through to the acid jazz and broken beat scenes emerging from the UK in the early 90’s, Helena’s sets are a heartfelt tribute to her passion and endless curiosity for black music and its roots. She's a regular presence in portuguese venues and has been lucky enough to play alongside some of her DJ heroes. Her mixes can be found in web radios from across the globe. Leote is a main fixture in the deeper edge underground scene in Lisbon, widely known for his variety and vast musical culture turning his djing experiences into a real journey through all musical spectrums of dance with special influences from electronic middle eastern/Asian music and funky disco grooves. Besides his residencies at iconic Lisbon Clubs, Leote hosts a weekly national radio show on Radio Meo Sudoeste called "Subgrave". Kemetic is a Lisbon-based self-taught adventurer, spinning disco and house records since 2009, sharing all colors and feelings electronic music has to offer.
