Tonight! Thursday, 10th of September 2026, we´re back at John Doe for another special event. And for this one, we invited the French LIVE act, Moteka, to headline the night. Born in Marseille, Moteka is the Techno alias of French producer Pierre Delort, shaped by over a decade of experimentation across psytrance, cinematic soundscapes and darker electronic music. Since launching Moteka in 2013, he has developed a distinctly dark, raw and minimalist sound, heavily influenced by the industrial aesthetics of artists such as Surgeon and Planetary Assault Systems. But Moteka is more than a studio project. For over a decade, he has built his reputation as a live techno artist, combining analogue hardware and software in complex, improvised performances. Tracks are dismantled, rebuilt and reshaped in real time, making every set a unique, hypnotic and uncompromising experience. From Paris and Berlin to London, Porto, and Budapest, his live performances have firmly established him within the European underground. At home, he remains a key figure in Marseille's scene and has been a resident of the Paradox collective since 2018. His discography includes releases on Skryptöm and Children of Tomorrow, the albums As We Fought Iron Giants and Decode/Process/Inform/Decide with Möd3rn, collaborations with TRUANT.J, and releases on Sotor Records. Today, Moteka stands as a defining force in French techno — raw machinery, hypnotic pressure and live improvisation, built for the underground. Marco Ramos will be in charge of the warm-up session.
