ATARAXIA 15–16 August 2026 Toca do Sadhu , Praia Fluvial Pego das Cancelas, Sertã A weekend dedicated to music, nature, friendship and the simple pleasures of being alive. Ataraxia is a small gathering by the river: one evening of movement, one day of listening, and time to swim, eat, rest, meet and simply be together. Not another festival. Not a retreat. Not just a party. A moment outside the noise. PROGRAMME SATURDAY, the PULSE An evening moving from the river into the night. Come early to swim, settle into the space, share food and enjoy the surroundings. As the afternoon unfolds, the music moves toward dancing, psychedelia and live performance. Saturday’s programme includes: EpicOuRien , Sym Potion's and Caroline Lethô's collab project finally gets a name :) Nyto, arriving from France Sym Potion Live Saturday music starts at 17:00 until 00:00. SUNDAY, the SILENCE A slower day dedicated to listening, rest and gentle movement. The morning begins by the river with some soft practices of Yoga and Qi gong, followed by an afternoon of ambient music, swimming, food and conversation. Sunday’s music program includes: Caroline Lethô Ambient Set Mister Samadi Chill-Out Set Sunday programme from 15:00 until 19:00. Ataraxia is made in collaboration with Toca do Sadhu. Eating and drinking at the venue directly supports them and the gathering. Also your donation helps directly the artists involved :) DONATIONS Ataraxia uses a sliding-scale donation system. Choose the level that feels possible for you. Please reserve your place online before traveling to the venue. Ataraxia is intended to be intimate and comfortable. LOCATION Toca do Sadhu Praia Fluvial Pego das Cancelas Sertã, Portugal The venue is located at a remote and beautiful river beach approximately 15 minutes by car from Sertã. TRANSPORT By car Search for: Toca do Sadhu — Praia Fluvial Pego das Cancelas Parking for cars and campervans is available on the street above the beach bar. Please avoid blocking access roads and respect the surrounding nature and local community. By bus From Lisbon or Porto, you can travel with Rede Expressos to: * Sertã * Vila de Rei From Sertã, the venue is approximately 15 minutes away by taxi. The taxi journey is normally around €15, depending on availability and time. OVERNIGHT STAY Toca do Sadhu and the surrounding river beach are not an official campsite. Responsible overnight camping is tolerated only in the designated area and while space remains available. Please: * Keep your setup small * Respect the designated camping area * Keep pathways clear * Leave no waste behind * Avoid excessive noise in the overnight area * Follow any instructions given by the venue team The venue reserves the right to stop accepting additional tents once the area reaches a comfortable capacity. Campervans may park on the street above the venue, subject to available space. Public toilets and showers are available. FIRE AND SAFETY The surrounding landscape is highly vulnerable to fire during the summer. The following are strictly forbidden: * Open fires * Camping stoves * Portable gas cookers * Candles * Incense * Barbecues * Fireworks * Any flame or inflammable object Do not cook in the camping area, parking area or surrounding nature. Smoking must be done only where permitted by the venue. Cigarettes must be fully extinguished and disposed of safely. Please follow all instructions from the venue and organization team. Anyone creating a fire risk may be asked to leave immediately. WHAT TO BRING * Swimsuit * Towel * Reusable water bottle * Warm layer for the night * Cash or card for food and drinks * Respect and the vibes FOOD AND DRINKS Toca do Sadhu will be taking care of us throughout the weekend with homemade food and drinks. Expect a selection of vegetarian dishes, fresh smoothies, homemade lemonade, ice cream, cocktails and other refreshing drinks, all prepared with the same relaxed spirit that makes this place so special. Ataraxia is made in collaboration with Toca do Sadhu. Eating and drinking at the venue directly supports the gathering. Come hungry. Stay a little longer. Share a meal :) Please do not bring your own alcohol into the venue. DOGS We know they are part of the family but before bringing your companion, please consider whether Ataraxia is truly the best environment for them. Saturday includes loud music, many people and a long day outdoors, while the river beach itself is not intended as a dog beach. Whenever possible, we encourage you to leave them somewhere they can enjoy a quieter weekend. If bringing your dog is your only option, please keep them on a lead, make sure they have shade and fresh water, and always clean up after them.
