Curated by New York’s own Ethan Tomas, founder of GINJA, and featuring a rotating lineup of exceptional guest DJs, ATLAS is a journey through Afrohouse, Amapiano, Gqom, Deep House, and beyond. This is more than a party; it's a celebration of culture, rhythm, and community, where everyone is invited to dance freely, be present in the moment, and explore new sonic landscapes. ETHAN TOMAS Ethan Tomas is a Ghanaian-American DJ and producer known for his dynamic Afrobeats and Amapiano-infused sets, based in New York City. As the founder of GINJA, one of NYC's biggest and most vibrant Afrobeats parties, Ethan has built a thriving community of music lovers and positioned himself as a key figure in the dance scene. His music, featured on platforms like Vogue and Boiler Room, has gained international acclaim, with standout performances including a highlight set at Ghana's Afrofuture Music Festival. In August 2024, Ethan released his debut EP, "Origins," solidifying his place as a rising star in the African music scene. As the curator and visionary behind both GINJA and his latest venture, ATLAS, Ethan continues to champion global Black dance music. ATLAS is his newest project, a celebration of diverse sounds and cultures, bringing together genres like Afrohouse, Amapiano, Gqom, and more to create a truly global dance experience. With an unwavering passion for dance music and culture, Ethan Tomas is redefining nightlife in New York City and beyond. DJ MELZI DJ Melzi, a platinum-selling producer and DJ from Pretoria, South Africa, started his DJ journey at just six years old. Known for his African-inspired, soulful sounds blending tribal rhythms with instruments like flute, piano, and saxophone, he’s affectionately called "Melzi Wa Batho" (Melzi For The People) and captivates audiences with hits like "La Melza" and "Bayekele." DIBS Dibs is a Nigerian-born, London-based DJ and artist making waves across the UK, Europe, and West Africa. As the leader of Mothaland, a collective championing music, art, and culture from Africa and its diaspora, she is known for her electrifying sets and live blends. This Thursday, Dibs brings her deep knowledge of the sounds of the Black diaspora to Atlas.
