Come dance, soak up the sun, and be a part of Avian Invasion's first full-album video shoot on board The Hiyu in Seattle!

AVIAN INVASION cordially invites you to be a part of his first full-album video shoot! The fine folks at Vivid Presents and On The Hiyu have allowed us to use their fabulous boat to film two one-hour takes on Seattle's Lake Union.

Into The Trees is an upcoming Progressive House and Organic House album by Seattle artist AVIAN INVASION. He's performed across North America as well as here in the Emerald City at clubs, conventions, and festivals. His weekly Twitch streams have become something of a legend in the DJ streaming community.

YOU will be a part of the magic! With 4K cameras, drones, Progressive House, and Seattle's gorgeous skyline all around us, your presence will bring the final necessary ingredient: THE VIBE.

Instead of a normal DJ cruise, this will be two one-hour takes of the complete Into The Trees album. So don't be surprised if you hear the same songs twice!

Yes, this event is free to attend!

However… since The Hiyu has graciously offered to sail for this video shoot, you're strongly encouraged to buy some drinks or food while on board. Fuel is expensive, certified crew are expensive, so please help us make a good impression by patronizing the bars once on board.

Please note that this will only happen if we get at least 250 attendees to dance with us. If for some reason we don't meet that minimum, you'll receive a cancellation notice by June 20.

FAQ

Will there be food and drinks?

Yes! The Hiyu will have its usual bar service as well as a food truck parked on the boat for the duration of the event. All transactions are card/tap only.

Will there be changing space?

This is not a FetchNW event. No special changing/storage area will be set up for costuming.

Wait, this is free?

Yes… BUT: The Hiyu has offered to sail the boat for free assuming they'll be able to cover their costs through food and drink sales. Fuel is expensive and certified crew are expensive, so PLEASE help us make a good impression by patronizing the on-board bars while you're there!

Is this a live performance?

Yes and no. DJ Recca will be spinning before and after the video recording, but the two takes with Avian Invasion will be performed to prerecorded playback for editing and sync purposes.

Will I be on camera?

Anyone outside of the two enclosed lounges will end up on the final recording, hopefully dancing near the stage!

Is there a dress code?

Anything that is bar-legal in the state of Washington is welcome– rave gear, fursuits, latex, you name it. However, please refrain from wearing anything with the kind of materials that will get a video censored or pulled from YouTube.

Where can I hear the music?

WHERE are we cruising?

The Hiyu is just going to float around Lake Union at sunset, so in full view of the Space Needle, Gasworks Park, and not too far from the dock. Since we need to get drone footage (and arranging for drawbridge raising is expensive AF), the boat will be staying within Lake Union.
