On Saturday, February 28, BRATL brings the essence of Brazilian Carnaval to Atlanta at Buteco (East Atlanta Village) — blending tradition, music, and community with the raw energy of Baile Funk + Brazilian and global sounds. This isn’t just a party. It’s a bloco on the dance floor. 🇧🇷 What is Carnaval? Carnaval is Brazil’s largest cultural celebration — a season of music, dance, and street parties known as blocos, where people gather to celebrate together through rhythm, movement, and self-expression. It’s vibrant. It’s inclusive. It’s collective. This night is our interpretation of that tradition. 🎽 What is an abadá? An abadá is the official shirt worn during Carnaval blocos in Brazil. It represents access, unity, and belonging — everyone in the same shirt, moving together as part of the same experience. ✨ The first 200 ticket holders will receive an official BRATL Carnival abadá.
