Their eclectic sets blend Baltimore Club, Techno, Jungle, House and beyond with ease. Appreciation for Tromac's artistry has taken their music across the world, heard at events such as Coachella, Movement Detroit, and Amsterdam Dance Event. Tromac's expertise in event curation stretches from underground scenes and community organizing to large scale concerts and festivals. In 2022 Tromac conceptualized Break A Leg, a party series that aims to establish safe spaces for movement and free expression. The appeal of this unique space continues to draw hundreds upon thousands of attendees, solidifying it as one of Baltimore's prominent party series. Indifferent to competition, Tromac continues to deliver dynamic performances and provide a unique approach to music production. Tromac is also a proud co-founder of 3SIDE, a music label and collective of creatives embracing art from all angles. __________ A local mainstay in the DMV’s underground rave scene, Baltimore-based Flotussin is an artist and DJ who is known for mixing an eclectic range of heavy-hitting sounds. Her buoyant sets are fluid in energy, with her sound highlighting this palpable kinship between herself, pop music, Baltimore club, bratty bass, and gritty, acidic techno. Crating for her sets is not a lame exercise in genre purity testing - hell no, Flotussin is trying to get you to compel you to move, feel sexy, and throw yourself into the dancefloor and her track selection is a means to those ends. It just so happens that, to the fortune of all her listeners, Flotussin is as much a discerning selector in the bag as she is a capable DJ behind the decks. She makes old school, hallowed techno and hard house classics move in lockstep with spectacularly frenetic, SoundCloud edit club tracks that were put up for download five minutes ago. You’ll walk away from a Flotussin set realizing that whatever it means to be a DJ conventionally is not everything. Flotussin play sets that make you realize these tenets espoused in dusty forums or exhausting twitter threads about the damn Camelot wheel are fully anathema to shaking ass on the dance floor. Luckily, you don’t need to take the praises sung for Flotussin here as proof alone; her resume speaks for itself. Headlining performances across the country, sold out shows, and legions of adoring dancers across the DMV all point to Flotussin’s excellence as an artist. Flotussin’s work has landed her gigs at some of the hottest spots in her area, notably at Flash residency hosting her party series Room Service and an Eaton Radio residency hosting her show titled Mood Gallery. Flotussin is no stranger to rocking a full house, being selected to curate a heavy-hitting live mix alongside Kelela at Kelela’s RAVE:N party. Additionally, she has made a prominent mark in New York City, snagging herself a residency at Paragon, a renowned Brooklyn staple. His foundation is rooted in Club, House, and Hip Hop music as he grew up submerged in Baltimore’s potent soundscape. Sun spent four years in the vibrant city of Philadelphia getting his stripes party rocking and earning a B.S. in Music Business & Audio Engineering (University of the Arts). Sun then moved his operations back to Baltimore City, where local publications and organizations have referred to Sun as one of the best DJs in the DMV. Sun also works closely with community organizers in Baltimore to empower and engage the city. From LA to Philly to Houston, NYC, and beyond, DJ-SUN plays at top-rated clubs, opens at venues for touring acts, and performs private events for companies like HBO and AMC. Occasionally, he pops up on FM radio and festivals, many of which are curated by his company “Solar Sonics.” On the production side of things, Sun has a unique and vibrant sound inspired by Club music, Hip Hop, and international grooves.
