Welcome back to Carpet & Snares' event series! We're delighted to be here again bringing you quality electronic music that will move you and get you moving. Exactly 18 months after our last event, just before the first lockdown, we invite you to join us at Arroz Estudios for a night of reconnecting and dancing. So much has changed in the world but Carpet has endured, and we're ready to return to the dancefloor! JOHN THOMAS (Ginga Music / Logistic, FR) Our guest is John Thomas, resident for 10 years at the legendary Rex Club in Paris and long-time affiliate of French techno label Logistic. In fact, John was responsible for their very first release back in 1997 and would go on to hear his tracks played out by the likes of Jeff Mills and Robert Hood. Collaborations with Claude Young, Cabanne and Barbara Goes (John's wife) followed, before he took a break from the music world to work in Senegal. Now living in Lisbon, he returns to the scene with fresh inspiration and his new label Ginga Music. As one comment online says: "John is back!
