À propos
Once a week for three months, we’ve handed CARGO over to a Class 9 Carrier, artists we love and trust to take the night wherever they want. For this next flight, Brooklyn’s own TORIBIO takes the controls 12AM-3AM, a DJ, producer, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist whose sets hit with equal parts groove, grit, and soul. Gliding from pan-Latin club to raw electro to jazz to old-school funk, TORIBIO'S sets are a masterclass in building energy and tension. Whether playing Boiler Room or clubs in Mexico City and Tokyo, he knows how to work a crowd with selections and transitions that are as precise as they are powerful. As a producer, his edits and originals are DJ weapons, rinsed by the likes of Gilles Peterson, Rich Medina, and Theo Parrish. His original tracks have been remixed by the likes of Louie Vega, Joe Claussell, and DJ Spinna. As the bandleader and heartbeat of Conclave, whose debut album was hailed by Resident Advisor, Rolling Stone, and The New Yorker, he bridges jazz, soul, and house with effortless grace. Through his label B.D.A. and community series Public Service NYC, he continues to nurture the city’s dance culture from the ground up. At the center of it all is that unmistakable TORIBIO energy raw, spiritual, and built for the body. As he says: bring dat ass, and your feet will follow. Setting the course 10PM–12AM in CARGO is Jeremy Giros, Dominican-American multidisciplinary artist and founder of NYC’s SanDia party and Mad Flava NYC collective. A selector rooted in movement and emotion, Jeremy crafts sets that speak directly to the body and soul. His sound glides between house, Afro-Latin rhythms, soulful gems, and heavy club grooves each selection purposeful, never overplayed, always with the dancer in mind. From rooftops to basements, his sets build trust and tension in equal measure, leading the floor through moments of joyful surprise and deep release. In the Foyer 10PM–2AM, Omer Mil sets the tone. A selector with a global pulse, Omer is the co-founder Vin.yl Events NY, known for curating nights where energy flows as freely as the sound. Born in Paris and raised between there and New York, Omer brings his French and African roots to every mix bridging continents, cultures, and eras with instinctive ease. His sets are journeys through rhythm and identity, gliding between house, disco, and percussive grooves that honor both movement and memory. On the floor, he doesn’t just play records he tells stories, each one vitalizing the dance with warmth, texture, and flow. Three artists, one mission: to move the room. From the first record to the last, trust the groove and let it take you. Venue opens at 5PM | Happy Hour 5–8PM | Music at 10PM
