Denver it really feels like you're hungry for a music minded queer community, with camp aesthetics, feet that wont stop, and excellent vibes! So... per request, we're going to keep doing these for a while! We've got so much epic music we want to share with y'all and some talented djs to deliver it to you! Join us Saturday, May 16 for clever gurl #3 at a different locale. We are going to continue to bring you the best beats for Mile High Feet in a curated environment that feels welcome, adventurous, playful, and safe! This time we're pairing the sweet sounds of DC's house scene with the soulful energy of Atlanta! And per usual we're going to get it started with some local love to set the tone! Headlining is Tommy C., a Washington DC-based DJ and member of Dance Club, alongside Baronhawk & Joyce Lim. Tommy is a frequent selector at DC's late night spots and gay bars, and has worked on many queer campouts, including Honcho Campout, Ever Afters, and Zap Outdoorz. Tommy was also a founding member or the seminal DC party and queer collective TNX. Tommy has appeared at clubs and parties including the Red Bull Music Academy Festival and The Carry Nation in New York, Folsom and Dore Alley in San Francisco, Hot Mass in Pittsburgh, The Black Eagle in Toronto, Nowadays in Brooklyn, Fag Bash in Provincetown, Southern Decadence in New Orleans, Deep South in Atlanta, Bridge Club in Portland, and Buttons in Berlin. Riding hard in the middle of the evening is Atlanta's Wild Cherry. Born & raised on the outskirts of LA, @wildcherry303 first touched turntables at a young age and began DJ'ing house parties for friends and family while in middle school. After moving to Washington DC, he was awe'd by the District's vibrant underground queer scene, beginning a journey of self discovery paired with sonic exploration. His focus hasn't wavered since. He currently lives in Atlanta, where he's a core member and resident DJ for the highly revered queer collective, Deep South. He’s been blessed to play at clubs, festivals & parties all over, including SOMOS, Public Records, Flower Factory, Jellyfish, & more. A dancer at heart, he frequents dance floors around the world, radiating his unique flare from the booth and beyond. Showcasing the local flavor is Pristál. Boston born Denver based DJ Pristál is the epitome of this cities multi-genre DJ. Having grown up a classically trained musician and music nerd, Pristál will use their understanding of music to move the dancefloor in ways you’ve never seen before. Hold onto your butts, cuz they won’t stop moving when they’re in control of the dancefloor! This event is 21+. ID required for entry. Clothes check will be available.
