COLORED CRAIG | NEW YEAR'S EVE @ LOSO w/ more TBA Thursday, December 31 DJ Sets: 9p-2a 2727 W. Broad St 21+ Colored Craig, once one of LA’s Best Kept Secrets, is no secret anymore. The Midwest native proudly wrecks the decks with all vinyl sets — a collection he amassed while frequenting parties in LA for years to hear some of the best DJ’s around. Inspired by the 90’s warehouse scene, Craig has made a name for himself at some of the most coveted clubs & festivals across the US, UK and Europe. EDC Las Vegas, Public Records in NY, Berlin’s Panorama Bar, Honcho Campout, Nowadays, Rinse FM and London’s The Cause to name a few. Colored Craig’s name can be found on line-ups with acts such as Derrick Carter, Honey Dijon, Octave One, DJ Minx, Ash Lauryn, Mike Servito and more. A dream come true for the St. Louis son of a vinyl lover. CC’s signature style is classic & funky house, and possibly one of the most sweat-inducing sets for those who come to the dancefloor for release. Coming from a career as a professional Choreographer, Craig knows exactly what records to play to keep the crowd moving. And to those who don’t dance and prefer a visual display of the music — look no further than the DJ booth. There you’ll find Craig orchestrating the drums and making shapes while rocking the box to a seemingly endless stream of sonic surprises. What may appear to the audience as a pre-set performance is honestly just a lover of dance connecting to his favorite music. “Dancer first, DJ second” Craig proudly claims. “Joy on the dancefloor. That’s what I got to offer!” A set from Colored Craig is transcendental — connecting you to the here, the now and the music. ——— LOSO Safe Space Policy ——— LOSO is a place for music lovers and dancers to come and express themselves freely.
