The Ukraine native eventually moved to Moscow where he landed his first residency at ARMA 17 and honed his DJ craft, focusing on the dark, spacey and ultra-detailed techno for which he is known today. After meeting Ben Klock on a trip to Berlin, Etapp went on to release multiple times on Ben’s Klockworks label and established himself as a technical producer. Etapp Kyle’s productions and DJ sets alike offer pristine and exploratory sci-fi landscapes while deftly avoiding the clichés of intergalactic techno.
