On Saturday, November 1st, Dead Letter No. 9 honors the spirit world with a night that bridges the living and the departed. For Día de las Cartas Muertas, our final Halloween affair, No. 9 becomes a glowing altar of candles, colors – a portal to the other side guiding us deep into the after-hours with Latin rhythms and ass-shakery that just won’t quit. We’ve invited a stacked lineup to summon the night: Dos Flakos bringing their fire and flair, Ultra Violet with a kaleidoscope of sound, Ludwig van Mix weaving hypnotic textures, and Yalka driving the floor into pure release. In CARGO: Dos Flakos Bronx-born, Dominican-raised, Chris and Rich have been setting dance floors ablaze since 2014 with a fearless fusion of Global Dance, Latin House, and Amapiano. Drawing from their Caribbean roots and New York upbringing, they craft sets that feel alive, vibrant, and deeply human a musical journey where hypnotic synths, driving percussion, and irresistible grooves collide. From their signature originals to mind-bending edits and remixes, tracks like Sazon and Palo Santo show their knack for blending heritage and innovation, turning every performance into a celebration of rhythm, culture, and pure joy. On the floor, Dos Flakos don’t just play music they summon it, creating moments where bodies move in sync, hearts beat faster, and the night feels endless. Opening in CARGO (10PM-12AM) is Ultra Violet A force in the NYC underground, Bronx-born Dominican-American DJ Ultra Violet blends house, disco, dembow, and a touch of nostalgia into sets that take you on a journey through sound and memory. Drawing from the rich, vibrant chaos of growing up in New York City, she curates each mix with infectious energy and fearless versatility. A mainstay of the scene, she holds a monthly residency at the Onyx Room at House of Yes and has brought her signature style to iconic stages like Bonnaroo and Glitterbox. In the Foyer, it’s Yalka and Ludwig Van Mix the industry heavyweights that have shared staged at the Latin Grammys Afterparty, EDC, BRESH, Art Basel, Perreo Club, and more bringing a mix of Latino and electronic sounds that hit hard and keep dancers locked in. Yalka (aka Yal Kalel) and Ludwig Van Mix are a powerhouse duo, fusing deep house, techno, and infectious Latin grooves to create nonstop energy on the floor. Together, they’ll have the Foyer moving from start to finish a night to fully let go, lose yourself in the music, and ride every pulse. Party 4 of our 4-part “Inspired by Cinema” Halloween series draws from 1996’s From Dusk Til Dawn.
