Very J is a Brooklyn-based DJ and curator whose sound is a bridge between the deep history of 90s New York house and the sprawling landscapes of ambient and funk. With over a decade of vinyl-driven exploration, including a tenure at the legendary A1 Records, his approach is rooted in the art of the dig and the grit of the underground. Whether he is steering the production for Sustain-Release or holding down residencies at Tokyo Record Bar and Million Goods, Very J's sets are defined by a rare fluidity. It is a style built on improvisation and deep listening, inviting the dancefloor into a seamless journey through both rare finds and timeless club classics.
