Shakers and groovers, We are calling you to the dancefloor for our gathering at Glob on Oct 17th. We have a special guest with Chicago roots. Tyrel Williams. Tyrel was a mainstay of Chicago’s underground scene for years. He began mixing records in 1999. Shortly there after he landed a job at Gramaphone Records where he spent many years building his collection of vinyl. He spent 2007-2011 building his Acid Test residency at Smart Bar, which was an all vinyl dance party in Chicago. In 2009 he took a job working with Jeff Mills and helping Jeff with Axis Records. Tyrel moved to San Francisco in 2011 where he help build the legendary Housepitality night at F8 and continued his Acid Test parties from Chicago. In 2014 he started a project with Bryan Bai-ee called Secret Studio with releases on their own label called Secret Studio Records. His next venture is his new vinyl label with C.L.A.W.S. called Immortal Sin. In 2024 Tyrel and C.L.A.W.S. released an EP called “Is That All There Is”. The latest Immortal Sin was released Summer 2025 and was a compilation featuring many great artists and currently working on the next release. Tyrel has devoted his life to the dance music community. We formed a deep connection upon meeting him and we are very excited to showcase his art through sound. Local support for the evening will be DJ Ladybug and Rodmo. Both are well versed on the decks, will be bringing it proper and are not to be missed. This will be an all vinyl affair. This party will be in the realm of house music but we do not stick to one genre. The artists are allowed to express themselves artistically with no restrictions. We are in for a ride. Don’t forget that the dancers are the party.
