À propos
Hot off the heels of their lauded closing set at Sustain-Release mid-September of this year, the Human Cluster Project is beyond thrilled to bring the esteemed DJ and curator Ron Like Hell (he/they). Ron hosts the music-first queer dance party Wrecked, which recently celebrated its 11th year of rocking the dancefloor in New York City. Stitching together influences ranging from psychedelic ambient to screaming techno to cutting eurodance and everything in between, Ron journeys deep into a sonic exploration that ties the intellectual mind to the most base rhythms of our own bodies. Very few DJs alive can enrapture dancers into a mind-melting trance that will make you lose any sense of time the way that Ron can. It is our absolute honor to bring them to Denver for a night of swirling sounds and sweating grooves. You can get a little taste of what’s in store here: https://soundcloud.com/ronlikehell/ron-like-hell-sustain-release-year-7 Sharing the bill with Ron Like Hell is HCP’s very own wngdu (she/they), an Iranian-American dj, journalist and visual artist born and raised in Denver, CO. Here’s a small slice of what they sound like: https://soundcloud.com/wngdu/club-freak-on-episode-1-72222?in=wngdu/sets/club-freak-on-radio-show-on Visual artist and soft sculptor Hayley Jo (she/her) will be creating a unique installation for this event. Hayley is Hayley is based in Denver, CO. Her work focuses on creating utopian worlds of whimsy and color with multi-dimensional materials. You can check out her work here: https://hayleyjo.me/ This event will take place October 22, 2022 from 10pm-late. The location will be emailed to ticket holders on the day of the show.
