THE RETURN OF TONALTHEORY. After a brief hiatus—starting their family with a beautiful baby girl—TonalTheory are back in action, full speed ahead. The hard-techno duo is a staple of the D.C. sound and scene. Curating the hottest showcases while leading their label, Undertone, TonalTheory have helped shape our city into a true techno sanctuary. TonalTheory returns to HDC for their first live performance in D.C. of the year. In support: Ether Pleaser Jade Cao Ramsey Neville The former D.C.-based Ramsey Neville makes his HDC debut alongside his D.C. techno contemporaries, TonalTheory. Once a key member of the D.C. techno community, now a New York–based changemaker and founder of Impulse Control, Neville’s smoldering groove hits the late shift. The very first formal Heaven Dancing Club party, held in Columbia, MD, was headlined by TonalTheory. That night not only launched HDC into the techno community but also forged lifelong friendships between the HDC and Undertone crews.
