À propos
For this 6th edition (already?) of the In Flagrante Delicto residency, we’re happy to have old-timers LeBRON, Dorian Flagrant & Dr Miracle as well as local newcomers sznl join Sleepwalk on Thursday, November 13 to make you bounce and forget your name from 10pm until late. Expect high-energy sets, blends of disco, house, indie dance, italo disco, electroclash & acid. But above all, expect the unexpected, and embrace their flagrant disregard of rules. Our esteemed resident guest LeBRON is spreading beach vibes and disco around the globe. Influenced from the energetic era of the early 80’s funk scene with tracks from the likes of Chic, Kwick, Change and many more are simply a starter to where the indefatigable journey begins. After supporting Breakbot & Irfane, Bon Entendeur and so many others on their tours, LeBRON will stop by Sleepwalk to reveal his incredible energy to the Brooklyn scene. sznl is a Brooklyn-based producer and DJ duo hailing from Western Massachusetts, known for their high-energy sets and genre-blurring productions. Blending house, breakbeat, underground, and electronic sounds with deep influences from disco, funk, and jazz, they craft dynamic, groove-heavy experiences that keep dance floors moving. Initiated into the turntables by a druidess of the forests in Paris, Dorian Flagrant seamlessly blends his rock roots with the pulsating beats of new indie dance, dark/italo disco & progressive house branches. Founder of Groover Obsessions, supported by Bordello a Parigi & Feinstoff, this relentless digger is like a truffle pig, seeking the perfect balance between melody and percussion. His eclectic and progressive sets are a journey of unexpected twists, designed with one goal in mind: to make everybody move. Dr Miracle hails from the sunny shores of Australia. A child of the 80s, launched into the golden era of 90s house and dance pop before venturing abroad to the UK and Europe for the French Touch and Indie-sleaze eras, whilst devouring all the cross continental cheese and Italo-Disco he encountered. Finding his way to the USA in 2011 in time for the pop revival and rediscovering his deep love of Disco, New York Garage and Freestyle in the city that generated these cultural touchstones. His sets cover this range of influences and experiences, built around electro basslines, an irrepressible love for Divas and a good time.
