Joana Carvalhas also known as The Tiny Musician is an innovative, multi-style violinist and artist. It is difficult to assign her music to a single genre, as Joana embraces a wide range of styles in her work. Originally from Portugal, Joana travels the world with her faithful violin and loop machine, sharing her light-hearted musical style across Europe, the UK, the US, and Asia. Through her performances, she demonstrates that music has no borders and can connect people from all walks of life. Her debut release, Indoor Thoughts (2023), is a clear reflection of her artistic approach, blending elements of jazz, folk, and singer-songwriter traditions while showcasing her eclectic and multicultural background. After graduating from Berklee College of Music (Valencia) in 2025, Joana is now working on recording and releasing her sophomore album. The project is anticipated to begin with a single release in 2026 and will be accompanied by a full band. She is also focused on expanding her presence across Europe in the coming months.
