The Bridge is an ALL TECHNO, ALL VINYL event series. Its purpose is to preserve the art of mixing real records, maintaining a cultural connection between major North American cities, and beyond. The artists for this edition are: fr.JPLA [institut für zukunft (leipzig)][://about blank (berlin)] https://soundcloud.com/fr_JPLA "on the search for the gig that kicks, djing for me is always an ideal state depending on the situation. my dj heart beats for earcandy sounds, noisy, trippy, deep-driving techno, with minimalist semitones and rolling basslines that need space to unfold, wrap around you, and lift you up. fluttering clicks over an expanding surface, switch off the mind and keep going: space-rave that runs when it’s running. playing with vinyl and choosing techno is also an attempt to counterbalance, even for a moment, a complex society. most important: i play techno from and with vinyl. i always support flintas* behind the decks and play against the dj patriarchy." RestLes [Complexity] | Toronto https://soundcloud.com/user-782331548/kaleidoscope-toronto-promo-mix From early brass instruments and wrinkled sheet music to Gemini decks and 90s groove boxes, the present musical journey conducts itself well with techno as the undertone that propels him forward. RestLes, in every sense of the word being truly dedicated to vinyl and the musical form you’re about to hear… unified with you on the dance floor, a technical set awaits full of heavy 909 drenched rhythms accompanied by pulsating grooves… the type he’d be found moving to till daybreak himself Marivs [Resource][Blast] | Toronto https://soundcloud.com/marivsmvsic Marivs's passion for electronic music began in the early 90s. A perfectionist and a techno purist, he has gained a great deal of esteem for his meticulous mixing and for the delicate, driving hypnosis he puts people under from behind the decks. Marivs began professionally DJing before the days of social media and has a deep respect for authentic underground culture; his vision is to expose his audience to the true values of techno.
