As he enters the next stage of his career, he’s embracing the challenge of further forging his path as an artist and performer. With an electronic rock background as his launchpad, KILIMANJARO cites Bloc Party, Black Coffee, The Prodigy, and Daft Punk as key influences throughout his journey. From the age of twelve, drumming played a central role in his musical foundation — a rhythmic influence that still defines his percussion-led productions and high-energy sets today. Having played in bands across Scotland, he later spent years DJing the Scottish circuit in cities such as Glasgow and Edinburgh before moving to London to establish himself in one of the world’s electronic music capitals. Those formative years — playing small shows week in, week out — helped him build a loyal following and refine his distinctive sound. In 2021, he launched KILIMANJARO MUSIC at La Cheetah in Glasgow, championing Black, POC, female, and other marginalized artists across the UK — a mission he continues to support. Beyond music, KILIMANJARO studied Product Design at art school, further shaping his creative vision. His passion for fashion led to modeling work, including being featured in the launch of Manchester United’s 23/24 kit and performing at a Moncler Fashion Week event in Milan. After more than a decade immersed in music, he is now stepping into a new chapter with the release of his debut EP via Capitol Records in early 2025. Described as a celebration of darker underground rave culture, the project blends high-energy drums, vocals, melody, and what he calls “Sounds of the Motherland.” His charismatic performance style has earned appearances on DJ Mag and Mixmag streams, but his global breakthrough came when Fred again.. personally invited him to perform at Boiler Room London in 2022 — a set that has surpassed 1.5 million views and continues to grow. “This EP is about beginnings and origins,” he says. “It tells the story of how I’ve been feeling over the past few years — the transition I’ve made, and the trials and successes that brought me here — The Jump Off.” MadaRae Nightclub 46 Minna Street, San Francisco 9PM – 3AM | 21+ with valid ID #LETSDANCE
