It is the first heartbeat of five days dedicated to authentic jazz, Solo Jazz culture, and international artistic excellence. About The Six Pack (Maka) The Six Pack is a powerful swing ensemble led by Maka, a musician known for his precision, groove sensitivity, and stage charisma. The band draws deeply from 1930s–40s swing orchestras, combining tight horn arrangements, solid rhythm section drive, and expressive improvisation. Their music is crafted specifically for dancers — structured, dynamic, and irresistibly rhythmic. Maka’s leadership brings both discipline and joy, creating a performance that feels authentic, vibrant, and grounded in tradition. The Spirit of Jazz Roots Jazz Roots Festival was created to honor the legacy of jazz dance and music while fostering contemporary excellence.
