Immersed in the euphoric realms of disco, house, techno, and electro melodies, Laila Amira draws inspiration from the vibrant pulse of New York City's nightlife to sculpt a sonic haven where reality surrenders to rhythm. Her journey as a curator is fueled by the transformative power she witnesses on the dancefloor, where connections bloom and euphoria ignites. Through her musical odyssey, Laila seeks to get listeners to embark on a journey of liberation- out of their heads and into their bodies. Since the start of her journey, she has graced nightlife stays at iconic venues such as Knockdown Center, Good Room, Elsewhere, Jolene Sound Room, Le Bain, Mood Ring, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Cafe Balearica, and Superior Ingredients. Laila Amira is also the co-host of Club Made Radio on Newtown Radio, a show and mix series dedicated to interviewing those changing the nightlife landscape today. LACATY is a DJ and producer based in Berlin. She’s known for her uplifting sets that radiate contagious energy. Her sound is unmistakably fresh and punchy. Blending together 90s house gems with groove, breaks, powerhouse, and garage with an element of fun and lightheartedness. Good vibes only, with a twinge of naughtiness, the purpose of her sets is always to make people let loose, smile and just have a good time. Her debut EP ‘Cascade’ on Berlin’s OYE Records, features three tracks designed to ignite any dance floor, channeling the exuberant spirit of the 90s music scene. Each track is a tribute to euphoric dance experiences intertwined with a nostalgic undercurrent, and has seen support from the likes of Sally C, Zombies in Miami and Lovefoxy. Raised in Paris, New York, and Montréal, Yambow draws inspiration from house, hip hop, and soulful music. As both a producer and DJ, he brings a live set experience infused with improvisation, skillfully incorporating his guitar on stage. Resident of the French house music collective Marbré and Kumo, he has honed his craft at esteemed venues like Le Badaboum, Madame Loyale, le YOYO, and internationally at spots like NewSpeak (Montréal) or Nublu (NYC). As both a producer and DJ, Yambow brings a live set experience infused with improvisation, skillfully incorporating his guitar on stage. 2024 promises exciting developments for Yambow, with anticipated releases on esteemed labels, collaborative projects, and DJ performances in Paris and beyond. Recently, Yambow has been inviting his friend and rapper AVC on stage, a London-born rapper, adding a dynamic layer to his performances. The duo's synergy and AVC's crowd interaction elevate Yambow's improvisational sets, creating an exciting and interactive experience with the audience.
