Laurie Darmon Sunday July 7th 8PM to 2AM TABLES RESERVATION & RSVP ONLY BOOK TABLE NOW: https://members.love/reservations +21 / ID REQUIRED DRESS WELL - CASUAL UPSCALE Laurie Darmon : Singer-songwriter, musician and producer, Laurie Darmon launched into music after her law studies at La Sorbonne. She then released a first self-produced EP Mesure Première which quickly gained recognition on prominent platforms like France Inter and Universal Music, the single “Rupture” of which was immediately #1 on the viral charts in Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Brazil and Spain, without her having done anything for it. This first EP also has 20M streams in China. She then wrote 3 tracks for the very famous singer Christophe, a true icon in France, who noticed her while she was making her first television appearance, then published her first album Février 91 on Mercury / Universal Music in 2017. She finally decided to set up her own label Lionne Records in 2018 to prepare the release of her second album Femme Studio released in 2020, the tracks of which will be played on the radio for 2 years. She has just released her third album La Traversée du Désir in November 2023, which she entirely wrote and composed between Los Angeles and Paris, and of which she co-produced all the tracks. She addresses the many questions that have crossed her mind over the last two years: to what extent do we choose to honor our desire, to listen to it, without worrying about what society will think if it does not enter? not in the ranks of the “norm”, especially when you are a woman and have passed 30 years? Through the 15 songs that make it up, Laurie Darmon addresses the many questions that she faced as she ventured into this solitary quest that she compares to crossing a desert that is sinuous and majestic at the same time, whose ultimate guide is freedom. Not the one we will agree to too late. No, the one we choose to marry when there is still time to build a life and a world that resembles us. Today she has more than 120 million streams worldwide. She sold out the Bataclan in June 2021 then La Cigale in Paris in November 2023. A jack of all trades, she has also created two podcasts (EXILS and CORPS À CŒURS) on which she addresses more intimate questions such as the origins of elsewhere or the relationship we have with our image and our body, by devoting each episode to a personality who comes to tell their story, such as the famous actress Marina Foïs, the comedian Gad Elmaleh or the very renowned trumpeter Ibrahim Maalouf. She also created the Corps à Coeurs event, bringing together many French personalities such as singers Louane, Ben Mazué and Joyce Jonathan, as well as fashion designer Charles de Vilmorin, each of whom had carte blanche to express themselves on their relationship with their bodies and their notion of self-acceptance. The fourth edition of this event will take place in February 2025 at the iconic Folies Bergère venue in Paris. Laurie Darmon also released the book Corps à Cœurs with Éditions Robert Laffont, her first book in which she recounts her journey of illness and recovery from anorexia nervosa that she went through for 10 years, with a sincerity that she had never dared, and interviews 8 public figures who confide in their journey to self-acceptance. She has been on tour in France since March and will fly out in June for her first international dates after her title “Laisse-moi t’aimer” experienced an international buzz in the summer of 2023. The buzz started one year ago thanks to social media when extremely popular content creators from all over the world got hold of the song by using it on the reels they were posting. “Laisse-moi t’aimer” quickly ranked for several weeks in 10th place in the world for the most listened songs on Instagram, and the 1st sung in French. Since then, the phenomenon, far from ceasing, has lasted and grown even stronger. This song now accumulates more than 380k reels on Instagram, over 30 million streams on platforms, 350k shazams, and has entered the top shazam charts in countries on several continents. Her title “L’exil” from her latest album is currently experiencing the same international buzz with more than 145k reels on Instagram from around the world in a few weeks and millions of streams on platforms. Thanks to these repeated phenomena, Laurie Darmon has built up a considerable international audience, becoming a French artist with more than 700k listeners per month on Spotify, whose music is as listened to in France as on all continent, on the radios and nightclubs all over the world, starting with South America, Latin America, the USA, Russia, South Korea, Japan and of course Europe, including Germany. French-speaking song still has a bright future ahead of it...! https://www.instagram.com/lauriedarmon/?hl=en https://soundcloud.com/lauriedarmon
