À propos
Leg Room & Friends is back for its first edition since 2024. Originally a Thursday night residency at the now shuttered Ponyboy (RIP), this party was created as a weekend tee off for Leg Room to invite a member of their community for a jam that doesn't end too late and creates a space for you to get warmed up for what's ahead with no cover charge, big sound, great drinks, and a space to gather. Jupiter Disco is the perfect place to pick this series back up and we hope you'll join us for a very special edition with a dear friend of Leg Room, Borbón. Leg Room [NYC] are best friends who have been DJing together for years. With a mutual love of keeping it eclectic, Leg Room have brought their blend of house, disco, and techno across NYC on dance floors such as Outer Heaven, Jupiter Disco, Cafe Balearica, Ponyboy, Black Flamingo, Silo, Eavesdrop and more. Juan Carlos Rodríguez AKA Borbón is a passion-driven music researcher and producer as well as a sound devotee. Finding common points in different [musical] cultures is the lighting fire to his purpose. Once having a multi-year DJ residency at one of South America's top rooftop bars [@360caracas], his thirst for discovery took him on a journey across continents that led to call New York City his home for almost a decade now. Founder of a local party called ''Universal'', his sets and vision are a statement packed with surprise and nostalgia in pro of an experience of togetherness beyond trends, nations and specific genres. Free all night __________ Jupiter Disco is a safe space for all. Our most important goal is to ensure everyone who steps into our space feels welcome and safe. In order to achieve this goal, it's mission critical that everyone approaches each other with respect. That means everyone. We are passionate about bringing people together and building connections between participants in and adjacent to our community. Go ahead and say hi to someone new while you're here with us! If you see or experience anything that makes you feel uncomfortable, please alert one of our team members and we will coordinate a resolution immediately. We encourage everyone to be present and interface with the physical elements around you while you're with us, so we ask that you please limit your phone use throughout the space. Phone screen and camera lights can also be distracting, so please be mindful of the brightness and the length of time you use those lights, if at all. If you intend to smoke (anything), please take a break outside and take a few steps down the block. Don't worry, we always have re-entry.
