A new musical aesthetic, in which the power of rap is brought for the first time to the sacred ground of samba. It is with this innovative proposal that Marcelo D2 presents "IBORU, may our pleas be heard", an artistic movement that will be inaugurated with the release of his 9th album on all digital platforms on 14 June, and which will have its debut concert at Audio in São Paulo on 16 June. After three decades of a fruitful career characterised by the search for innovation, the artist turns to his own history to propose a new sound. For the first time, the bass of the 808 joins the cadence and classic formation of samba in the terreiro. In this "new traditional samba" by Marcelo D2, cavaquinho, choir, percussion and brass dialogue harmoniously with the electronic bass of rap.
