He’s been responsible for some serious mash ups produced in the last years. on WACK records was number one chart on main record shops around the world. On his own label, LISBOA he worked with producers like Mr. Bird and JSTAR. Records also for RESENSE records, sub-label of AGOGO records (Austria). His records earned air space on the referenced “Craig Charles Funk and Soul show” on BBC Radio, Radio X in Germany, Popcorner RAI. in Italy and Radio Oxigenio in Lisbon. Lucky - also known as Luquebano Afonso, is an Angolan national who has lived in Portugal since 1991. He has been part of various deejaying projects such as: "GetLuckygetFunky" AfroBlu DJs, Cadillac Soul, UnderGrOov, and Ninho Marimbondo's DJ Crew. Eclectic in his musical selection, his sets reflect major influences within black music such as Jazz, Rhythm 'n' Blues, Soul, Funk, Hip Hop, Dub, Reggae, Afrobeat, Latin & Brazilian Vibes, Mush Up, Break and Progressive Beat. A broadcaster since May 30, 2021, he hosts the show "Keep The Light On" on the online radio station Lusophonica
