On The Fly 063: Frzzr, Augusto, Prisms, Makos, Black Castle

A night of sinfully good music at Church - a celebration of local/up and coming talent. BLACK CASTLE (WPB) makes their Churchill's debut, laying down some Doom with punk undertones. MAKOS (NY) joins on stage playing from their Debut Album 'Para Luca...' - expect a blend of indie, garage rock and shoegaze. PRISMS takes the Miami Dive tour with On The Fly slanging post-punk heaters for you squares. AUGUSTO brings the fuzz- fun, deliciously crunchy garage rock&roll. En ingles o español - however you want it. FRZZR ends the night with selections from their forthcoming album 'Cold Call," - noisey punk, metal and shoegaze. DJs Cavenug & 4noon will be playing punk, dance cuts and leftfield in between bands and well into the night. Your host Moño will take over late to round out the night. Expect lots of wax & some light USB work. DOORS at 9 PM, SHOW starts at 10 PM. TICKETS are 10$ but I realize not everyone can afford to pay. Ultimately, community trumps all, so we'll be operating on a sliding scale of $5–$10, i.e., pay what you can within that range.
