Pole Perreo Workshop

POLE PERREO is launching its debut event on Wednesday, Sept 25 with our very first Pole workshop! This all-levels workshop will be geared toward beginners wanting to start their journey with pole as well as intermediate dancers looking for a community to share their practice with. This event is a queer and SW-run event and welcomes folks from all walks of life, but is specifically centering queer & trans folks, SWs, as well as POC community members who cannot afford to learn at a studio. POLE PERREO will cover beginner pole basics with one hour of instructional pole and one hour of open pole with our amazing multifaceted instructor, Amy The Movement Goddess - a professional pole & aerial instructor and performance artist. Amy has performed for the likes of Burning Man, Hulaween, and Envision Festival and currently teaches throughout South Florida. Joining us on the decks for a full night of perreo tek, reggaeton, & hip hop will be VIBRACIONES, Miami DJ, multidisciplinary performance artist, and founder of Transcendental MIA & FUNRAVER. Ready to sweat it out and shake some ass? Join us from 8-10 PM at Dear Eleanor for a night of pole, floor work, and sexy vibes! All genders are welcome! Our goal is to create and maintain affordable and accessible workshops for our community! Before the workshop please ensure you do not wear any lotions, oils, or perfumes to prevent slipping on the pole. We recommend our attendees wear body-tight/minimal clothing such as spanx, booty shorts, tank tops, or a sports bra. We also recommend you bring a yoga mat, water, a towel, and a positive attitude!
