Broad St 21+ Armando X. is a DJ, digital archivist, and cultural curator dedicated to the preservation of global BIPOC club history. Through his docu-series, Raw Club Archives, he bridges the gap between dance music’s foundations and its future. He has captured definitive oral histories from icons including Zack Fox, Junior Sanchez, Spñiorita, Tyree Cooper, DJ Lina Bradford, Connie-Girl Fleming, DJ Slugo, Dr. Nicole Rawls among many other legends in BIPOC electronic spaces. This research finds its physical expression in ROOT.WRK, his vinyl-only residency and party series - where the research is brought to life on the dance floor.
