Rosenthal Quartet (Live Jazz)

Moondog HiFi welcomes back Wanja Rosenthal and the Rosenthal Quartet! Featuring Viennese jazz guitarist and composer, part of a new generation of modern-inspired jazz musicians. He studied guitar at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, and spent a year studying in Cologne, Germany. His style bridges lyrical virtuosity and compositional depth. He cites jazz greats like Kurt Rosenwinkel, Tom Harrell, and Bill Evans as influences, but also draws inspiration from Brazilian music and impressionistic piano works.
