Shugi X Funky Beats X Badassery

BADASSERY x SHUGI w/ FUNKY BEATS: SOULFUNK & LILA GROOVE (Berlin) Once a month SHUGI takes over The Acoustic Chamber, the basement black box under Badassery, and brings a guest she wants you to hear. This October it's SOULFUNK & LILA GROOVE, the Berlin duo behind Funky Beats, their event collective and record label. They play groovy house, minimal and disco, and have carried that energy from AfrikaBurn, Wolfkop Weekender and RE:SET in Tunisia to dancefloors from Bali to Cape Town. Come early. The cocktail bar and dim sum diner upstairs open at 8pm. The basement opens at 10pm, and at midnight SHUGI takes the decks until close. Dirty basslines and sexy house that will keep you there until the very last song. Tickets are limited. Grab yours before they're gone. Walk into the knitting shop. Keep walking. Have a drink, a bite and a good boogie. Come lose yourself in your favourite speakeasy.
