Meditative and thoughtful music journey in Lisbon: Sol Vk and Roumé at Aethos This is going to be a special live music experience at Aethos, a picturesque venue, hidden in the heart of Graça, Lisbon, by Argentinian singer-songwriter Sol Vk and neoclassical pianist and composer Roumé. Imagine the atmosphere of an overnight train journey, when your phone doesn't have a connection, or imagine, at least 20 years ago. Sharing a compartment with a stranger, knowing your paths will diverge in a few hours, creates a weird, at first awkward, but then warm sense of curiosity. It becomes a space to pause, open up, and share stories, perspectives, and emotions. This concert is a soundtrack to that journey. Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Sol Vk brings to life a unique repertoire in Spanish, Portuguese, and English. In this setting, she serves as the attentive listener, who in returns gives a song. Roumé will perform pieces from his latest album, “we are melting snow,” contributing to the dialogue almost entirely without words, allowing the nuance of the piano to speak for itself. To complement and elevate the music, the evening will feature a delicate and comforting selection of Japanese cuisine prepared by Tomoko and Ko.
