Back for round 2, and this time we’re going for darker trap vibes. We put out another public request for DJ proposals and received approximately 20 requests. Every single DJ on the lineup has been vetted for dark tastes and assigned a bpm range. If you want to learn more about each DJ please check their profiles for more info. Over the next few days we will share samples of their work and a bit of their stories. Some things that might be interesting to note: @zombiadam and @blakmodular are returning from the first event with slightly later time slots. @venuxmusic_official puts on character when he DJs. I’m curious to see people react to his performance. It’s definitely going to be a bit bizarre for some, but seeing people scared is half the fun 👺 @ii_am_vee is super active in the scene. Dark trancey tastes. Very easy decision to book her and I’m looking forward to network in person. I sound like a clout whore, but booking people with much more scene experience than me is the best part about curating these lineups. @demen_tek was someone I was looking forward to book a few weeks ago for a different event (which never moved forward), so I was totally shocked and excited when he reached out to me. Demen-Tek is one of the few serious promoters in the scene pushing forward industrial hardcore with high quality bookings. It’s a huge personal honor to have him play acidcore at our party. @paradox.bpm is basically the reason I’ve put my DJ career on hold. Dude has similar tastes and much better mixing skills than me. I’d probably need at least another year to catch up, so why not just promote him instead, amirite? Recently he’s been getting invited to play for various Techno Brooklyn after parties. I have no doubt this guy is going to blow up soon. His transitions are fun and energetic. Dark tastes. @sxcknexx_666 sent me a DM after the Demen-Tek addition was “leaked”. Another easy yes booking. @fraqtals_ @nico_soruco @djw_ave seem to be “new”, and although they might have less clout than some of the DJ requests that didn’t make the lineup, their mixtape submissions were all much darker. Taste > clout always.
