Tfb Invites Señor Pelota

Señor Pelota delivers vibrant DJ sets, masterfully and unapologetically navigating through different rhythmic temperatures — from House to Disco, Electro to Funk, Acid to Techno — always with groove at the heart of his sound. His record selection travels seamlessly between past and present, while never losing sight of the future. Over the years, he has performed on stages of all sizes and across many latitudes, both nationally and internationally. Regular appearances at iconic Portuguese clubs such as Lux Frágil and Plano B have been accompanied by performances at renowned festivals including Boom Festival, Lisb-On, and Super Bock Super Rock. His sound has also reached cities such as London, Rio de Janeiro, Goa, Mexico City, Barcelona, and Berlin, where he continues to spread his musical magic. As a resident DJ and musical curator, Señor Pelota has left his mark on venues including Marriott Hotel, Corinthia Lisboa, Velvet (Bairro Alto), Esperam’entrando (Zambujeira do Mar), Bar do Bruno (Baleal), and more recently, Praia Irmão (Caparica) in 2023. However, it was at the now-defunct Lounge club that his longest and most significant residency took place: “Mutante,” a project that now lives on as a weekly radio show on East Side Radio. A devoted vinyl collector with an impressive — and enviable — archive spanning truly eclectic territories, he was also responsible for running Bloop Vinyl Shop for two years. Since 2019, OITO//OITO has been his most active collaborative project alongside Dupplo. Together, they produce and release original music as well as remixes for other artists through their own label, OITO//OITO Discos. Their latest release is the EP MP88, created in collaboration with Mirror People.
