an afters for your afters, in a cozy loft where time contracts & expands. ‘time dilation’ is a listening session designed to give music the breathing room it deserves. this evening explores how our perception of time shifts when we’re truly immersed in the present moment. ​this is a sunday evening soft landing, a space to decompress after the weekend, settle into cushions in our cozy private loft & be present with the sounds & however time unfolds. approaching a DJ mix as assemblages, Ron Like Hell aligns sound with emotion, focusing on texture to create psychedelic soundscapes, imaginative spaces for comfort & surprise spectators with an unexpected crafty transition. with 26+ years of making people dance in numerous countries along with years of vinyl shop experience & music promotion, his/their role in the industry is unique and influential. visual curation & installation by SAYOKOOSADA featuring guest artist Johan Michalove: a researcher, technologist & writer constructing philosophical probes via speculative technologies & visualizations, spanning scales from street life to the planetary. he is currently a PhD candidate at Cornell University in the Information Science department, where he is a member of the Computing on Earth Lab (led by Steve Jackson) & the Interplay Research Studio (led by Malte Jung). food & drink available for purchase at 'a soft opening' a cozy private loft by the morgan L - RSVP for location
