ubiyu x night w/ Youandewan

We're super excited to host Youandewan for his Texas debut for our monthly ubiyu x night showcase. We're heading back to our old stomping grounds, The Oven, for another late-night party. Robert Roman will be doing a b2b with Dozal, and Vital Audio Rentals will be bringing out the Danley sound system. It's a BYOB party and we're going late!! Berlin-based DJ/producer Youandewan can craft dancefloor fillers as easily as he can produce deep introspective cuts. Born Ewan Smith, he spent his early life in the U.K., where he learned the ropes of DJ'ing and producing. His debut EP, Scarlett, emerged in 2006 through and displayed a dancefloor-oriented style, an approach that prevailed in the EPs that followed. However, he eventually left the U.K. -- and a long-term relationship -- to move to Berlin. It was in the German cultural capital that Smith wrote and recorded his debut album, There Is No Right Time, which reflected the chillier and far more nuanced tone that he had been developing since relocating. Youandewan's talent for producing and curating his label "Small Hours" has seen him consistently rise through the years to now playing regular gigs all over the world.
