Over nearly fifteen years, Wrecked has defined itself by its music-first policy, and Ron and Ryan are exemplars of this philosophy. Matching dank, grooving energy with unrestrained punkish power, moments of lush depth and a top-to-bottom command of dancefloor momentum, this will be special. DJ Minx, aka Detroit’s First Lady of Wax, co-headlines STUDIO. Active in her hometown since the birth of techno, Minx was first exposed to club music at the legendary Music Institute. Since those mid ‘80s heydays, Minx has been a staunch advocate for, and a practitioner of timeless, soulful dance music - always delivering it with a twist. She is responsible for classics like “A Walk in the Park,” which melds an unerring dancefloor sensibility with a touch of mystery. Minx is joined by STUDIO resident Massimiliano Pagliara. Fusing classic italo and timeless house with his personal sound signature, Pagliara is a landmark talent. Euphoria is baked into his sound at an atomic level; for a great example, try “Hooking Up,” his most recent EP on his own Funnuvojere label.
